Thanks to the Stimulus Bill, also known as
The American Recovery and
Reinvestment Act of 2009, from January 1, 2009, through December 31,
2010, you can complete the project of your dreams and qualify for a tax
credit up to $1,500.
Section 1121 of the Stimulus Bill allows for a federal energy tax credit
to homeowners, up to 30% of the cost of the product (up to a maximum
$1,500 for taxable years 2009 and 2010). The tax credit is for the cost of
the product only and does not include the cost of installation. Learn more
about federal tax credits for energy efficiency by visiting our
FAQs or the
ENERGY STAR® website.

Do all doors qualify for the Energy Tax Credit?

residence of the taxpayer.

well as a manufacturer certification statement.
